Community Guidelines

1. What is not allowed

• Harassment and bullying. Do not target another traveller with insults, intimidation or unwanted repeated contact. Do not use a journey share, an invitation or a friend request to reach somebody who does not want to hear from you.
• Hate speech. No content that attacks or demeans people for their race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, age, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation.
• Threats and violence. No threats of violence against anyone, and no content that celebrates or encourages it.
• Sexual content and nudity. Aviendra is not a place for sexual content. Do not use a profile photo, name or biography for it.
• Impersonation. Do not pretend to be another person, a company, or Aviendra itself. A username or profile designed to be mistaken for somebody else is impersonation even if the biography says otherwise.
• Spam and scams. No bulk or repetitive friend requests or journey invitations. No advertising, referral schemes, phishing, fake offers, or attempts to move someone to another platform to sell to them.
• Other people's private information. Do not publish somebody's address, phone number, documents or travel plans without their agreement.
• Illegal content. Nothing unlawful, and nothing that facilitates it. Content that sexually exploits a child is reported to the authorities and the account is removed permanently.
• Offensive names and biographies. Your username, display name and biography are checked automatically when you save them, and obviously abusive text is refused. Passing that check is not permission — a human review can still remove it.

2. What we ask of you

• Use a name people can recognise you by, not one designed to deceive.
• Keep your biography about you and your travels.
• Share a journey only with people who want it.
• If somebody asks you to stop contacting them, stop.

3. Reporting a traveller

In the Aviendra app, open the ⋯ menu beside a traveller — in search results, on a friend request, or in your friends list — and choose Report. Pick a reason, and add anything that helps.

Your report is not visible to the person you reported. We do not include your email address in it.

4. Blocking a traveller

Use the same ⋯ menu and choose Block. Blocking takes effect on our servers and works both ways:

• you stop appearing to each other in search and on profiles;
• neither of you can send or accept a friend request;
• any journey you were sharing stops being shared, for both of you.

The person you block is not told, and cannot see who blocked them.

You can see and undo your blocks in Profile → Privacy and sharing → Blocked travellers. Unblocking lets you find each other again; it does not restore a friendship or a shared journey.

5. How we respond

We review reports normally within one business day. Depending on what we find we may remove a profile photo, biography, name or username, restrict an account, or remove it entirely.

We act on the smallest step that ends the problem. For a first, minor issue that usually means removing the offending text or photo. For repeated or serious behaviour it means removing the account.

We keep a record of resolved reports for 12 months, because repeated behaviour is only visible over time. This is described in our Privacy Policy.

6. If we got it wrong

If you think we removed something in error, reply to us at info@aviendra.com and a person will look again.

7. Emergencies

These guidelines are not an emergency service. If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency number first.
